That was a short topic the other night. Although it was about if you logged into an SDR radio on the internet and it not being a radio. I have to take the side that it is and here's why. To suggest that it is not a radio would suggest that the repeater is not a radio as we are essentially simultaneously transmitting to it and being rebroadcasted out remotely. Also remote operation of a base station is not a radio. Which is exactly the same thing we're doing with SDR radios through the internet. I've been checking it out via online and now with this little dongle. It's quite fascinating.
Been going all over the place today. I started around 5am and modified Chang Puak's Yagi-Uda calculator to suit my needs. I needed to add elements and his first calculator had that, but didn't show dipole length and his new one didn't allow for adding elements. So I merged the two a bit. Can be seen here.
